Redefining the material

Stuff--the fibers and materials that surround us everyday--what is it's true value? 

Did we come to this world to be preoccupied with it? 

Has aquiring it brought true satisfaction?

The true value of the material realm is not in building a fortress of false self worth.  It can, however, serve as a medium to create what we love. It can serve as a nurturing support for our bodies as we evolve and grow in our minds and emotional selves. 

When we find ourselves identified with material or when it defines our sense of self, we can use this awareness as a means to finding our true identity. The material is a support. It is not the final destination.
